Senior Property Accountant

💰 Salary: $80,000–$95,000 + comprehensive benefits

Our client is hiring! Join a growing real estate investment and management firm with a diverse portfolio of commercial and multifamily properties across Northeast Ohio. We’re looking for a Senior Property Accountant to take ownership of financial operations across 20 properties (700 units total) and play a key leadership role on our team.

🔑 What You’ll Do

• Lead full-cycle property accounting and financial reporting


• Manage monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and CAM reconciliations


• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and handle vendor payments in Yardi


• Process tenant invoicing, collections, partner distributions, and basic partnership accounting


• Administer payroll and ensure financial compliance


• Own Yardi operations: close out and open accounting periods monthly


• Collaborate closely with leadership (including Chris) to drive financial accuracy and efficiency


• Coordinate with external tax partners (K-1s issued, no internal tax prep)


• Deliver clear financial reports and insights that support company decisions

✅ What They Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in accounting (real estate/property management preferred)


• Strong working knowledge of Yardi and Excel


• Excellent organizational and communication skills


• Detail-oriented, self-driven, and ready to lead- this is a HANDS-ON role
