Sr. Python Developer (W2 Contract)

Seeking a Python Developer with expertise in backend, microservices, and API development using MongoDB. Leads design and deployment of scalable backend solutions with FastAPI and Flask. Must be skilled in architecting RESTful APIs, microservices, MongoDB modelling, and query optimization. Strong experience in authentication, security, and integration of backend services is required.

Key Requirements

• 13+ years Python development, advanced backend/data engineering.
• Hands-on MongoDB experience: Modelling, aggregation, optimizations, integration.
• FastAPI/Flask/Django for APIs/microservices.
• Built/scaled major backend platforms, including ETL and reporting.
• Integrated multiple databases (SQL a plus, MongoDB required).
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Must be OPT-eligible; no H1B or Green Card.

Additional Details

• Client interview onsite (Charlotte, NC or Irving, TX) is mandatory.
• Strong problem-solving/collaboration.
• No sponsorship; only OPT or unrestricted work authorization.
• Certifications in AWS/GCP and experience with CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes are a plus.
