Sr. Residential Mortgage Closer - Two Years Plus Encompass Required

What You’ll Be Doing:

In this role, you will facilitate the loan closing process by working with outside title companies to ensure the delivery of complete and accurate closing packages. You will help ensure a smooth and timely closing experience.

Additionally, you will complete the funding process after reviewing and approving all critical funding documents. Finally, you will collaborate with the post-closing team as needed to resolve any document issues during the loan boarding process for servicing.

• Five or more years of experience in the mortgage industry 
• Two or more years of recent experience in closing loans
• A thorough understanding of the life of loan and processes outside of closing
• Ability to attend quarterly in person meetings in Chicago
• Proficient in TRID and Encompass
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications 
• Strong written and verbal communications skills 
• Conventional Loan Experience required, FHA/VA experience desired 
• Affordable housing knowledge desired (Down Payment Assistance programs, etc.) 
• Ability to handle 30 closings per month. 
• Knowledge of regulations related to Mortgage Industry 
• Flexibility to work additional hours (overtime) during peak demand periods.
