We have partnered with a technology company to identify a Senior Revenue Accountant to join their growing team!
This position will be responsible for overseeing revenue accounting activities and ensuring compliance with ASC 606. The Sr. Revenue Accountant will play an important role in implementing revenue recognition accounting guidance, assisting with closing procedures, and identifying areas for improvements in revenue accounting.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare revenue accounting for month end close
· Ensure the application of GAAP to complex revenue transactions
· Prepare and post journal entries to ensure appropriate revenue treatment
· Assist with monthly revenue related tasks and analysis including monthly revenue close process (e.g., reconcile revenue, reserves, etc.)
· Review various analysis to support the Company’s compliance with revenue recognition guidance
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
· 3+ years of accounting experience
· Experience with ASC 606 revenue accounting
· CPA and Big 4 audit experience is a plus
· Strong understanding of US GAAP
$65,000 - $85,000 a year
