Sr. Safety Manager

Position Summary:

Talent Source is hiring a Sr. Safety Manager to support the development, implementation, and oversight of safety policies and programs across multiple divisions and affiliated companies. This role involves strategic planning, compliance enforcement, training coordination, and cultivating a strong safety culture under the direction of the Safety Director.

Job Duties:

  Foster and maintain a culture of safety across all operations.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct site safety inspections, document findings, and report to management.

  
  


• 
  

  Lead new-hire safety onboarding and training.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure employees have proper tools, equipment, and resources to work safely.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide First Aid or Basic Life Support when required.

  
  


• 
  

  Oversee reporting, investigation, and documentation of incidents and accidents.

  
  


• 
  

  Collect, analyze, and present safety data, trends, and corrective actions.

  
  


• 
  

  Interpret and communicate company policies and regulatory requirements.

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct periodic vehicle and driver safety audits.

  
  


• 
  

  Administer and support programs such as Fall Protection, Hazard Communication, Substance Abuse, COVID-19 protocols, and Fleet Safety.

  
  


• 
  

  Procure, distribute, and maintain safety equipment for assigned regions.

  
  


• 
  

  Support disciplinary processes related to safety non-compliance.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform other duties as assigned by the Safety Director.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  High School Diploma or GED required; degree in Occupational Health & Safety preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  5–7 years of safety management experience in General Industry and/or Construction, including janitorial, property maintenance, landscaping, or commercial construction.

  
  


• 
  

  Prior leadership experience with ability to manage programs, projects, and staff.

  
  


• 
  

  Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).

  
  


• 
  

  OSHA 30-Hour Construction and/or General Industry Certification (required).

  
  


• 
  

  OSHA 500/501 Trainer Certification (preferred).

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of OSHA, Cal-OSHA, and other regulatory standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to travel up to 10% and work nights/weekends as needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Must hold a valid Class C California Driver’s License.

  
  

Pay Range: $90,000 – $110,000 annually (DOE)
