Job Description

Summary:
The main function of a Developer (GRC Specialty) is to design, develop, and implement applications using the ServiceNow platform to support Governance, Risk, and Compliance business requirements. Currently, we're using Utah and soon to upgrade to Vancouver.

Job Responsibilities:
• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts
• Advise as to the long-term impacts of a proposed solution with respect to maintenance and ability to accept upgrades
• Make recommendations regarding configuration and development decisions on the ServiceNow platform that balance risk with required functionality
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution in the ServiceNow platform
• Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for the supported area
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment
• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or a related field required
• 8+ years experience required
• At least 3 years experience development experience in the ServiceNow platform
• Hands on experience with at least IRM, CAM and Business Continuity ServiceNow modules
• Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large-scale projects from end-to-end
• Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC
• Hands on experience in implementing integration with other apps/system in the ecosystem
• The ideal candidate should have completed at least 2 end-to-end implementations of the ServiceNow GRC application
• Prefer hands on experience building and troubleshooting using App Engine Studio
• Ability to both troubleshoot and create ATFs from scratch
