A Sr. S&OE Supply Planner owns the process for finalizing deployment plans that provide high levels of service and optimal inventory availability. Through active collaboration with S&OP Production Planning and Sales Operations, the Supply Planner ensures priorities are fulfilled and key exceptions are resolved. Through execution of standard daily work with high attention to detail, he or she ensures plans are optimized over the near-term horizon. The supply planner is then responsible for monitoring the total inventory (Safety Stock + Cycle Stock) for his/her area of responsibility, with accountability for: - On Hand Available to Promise - New Product Introduction and new flooring Order Coverage - Unit Fill Rate - MTO On-Time - RDC Location DOS
What you'll do: • Daily monitoring of location-level Demand, Production, and resulting Inventory Mix (Stock at RDC/FDC) and Goods Availability • Cooperate with S&OP Production Planning to plan adjustments according to demand changes • Evaluate and recommend scenarios to improve supply outlook • Proactively identify and take action to prevent supply constraints • Provide timely, clear feedback on product availability inquiries from Sales • Participates in weekly S&OE process, content creation, and executing decisions • Support maintenance of the distribution plan (Create/Modify/Release STO) • Execute the Phase In-Phase Out distribution plan with product transitions (Monitor demand) • Work closely with sales operations and factories to implement and track adherence to sales allocation process • Review and update STO's not yet shipped • Lead continuous improvement projects as needed, and serve as a leader/mentor to fellow Supply Planners
Competencies required: • Models customer obsession and continuous improvement through daily rigor and collaboration • Structured approach to situations, coupled with good creative capacity and aptitude to juggle various options before taking a final decision • Executes standard daily work with high attention to detail • Ability to collaborate and build relationships cross functionally, being open minded but assertive to bridge gaps for the best company result • Ability to anticipate and prevent issues before others, rather than react to issues • Innate capability to quickly detect a trend within large amount of data • Able to derive simplicity out of complexity • High literacy in data applications and planning systems
Minimum Eligibility Requirements: • 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning • 4+ years of experience with advanced mathematical and forecasting tools such as statistical forecasting and/or supply planning systems (SAS, SAP, JDA)
