McKesson Pharmacy Systems is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join our growing

EnterpriseRx Software Development team . MPS offers an array of integrated pharmacy software solutions for the health care industry. Our systems are used to manage thousands of pharmacies nationwide within the independent, chain, and hospital market segments.
Position Description

EnterpriseRx research and development (R&D) team , you will work in a collaborative and highly skilled Agile team.

EnterpriseRx is an enterprise class software solution that manages pharmacy workflow activities and increases revenue into pharmacies.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high quality software that exceeds customer expectations
Actively participate in the development of User Stories
Develop features and functionality that meets user story acceptance criteria.
Participate in technical design and code reviews
Creatively investigate and remediate customer facing issues and defects
Participate in ongoing software and process improvement initiatives that seek to reduce effort for our customers and ourselves
Develop and execute unit/integration tests
Engage with cross-functional teams that may include Architects, Developers, Q/A, and Product Management, Project Management, Support and Operations personnel
Demonstrate solutions to a diverse audience, including business leaders and customers in Sprint Reviews
Develop expertise in the retail pharmacy, and clinical services domains as well as McKesson products and services
Align with customers to research and understand customer issues and develop creative solutions that exceed expectations
Learn and understand the pharmacy domain and the unique challenges our customers face to develop solutions that help patients live healthier lives
0-25% travel
Minimum Requirements
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience
Critical Skills
4+ years’ experience in software engineering
3+ years’ experience with Java / Object-Oriented software engineering and RESTful services
3+ years’ experience with relational databases (such as Oracle) and Structured Query Language (SQL)
Experience with RESTful API architecture and development

Experience with Agile development methodologies
Additional Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in a commercial software development team
Experience with developing and designing software applications.
Know the 12 principles of the Agile Manifesto. Experience working in a software development team with those first. Scrum, Kanban
Proven ability to drive activities to closure while pursuing excellence
Ability to learn and implement new technologies and processes
Knowledge of web development and an MVC framework such as Angular
Knowledge of web services and corresponding frameworks such as Spring Boot
Ability to learn and implement new technologies and processes
Positively contributes to building a great culture
Hunger for personal and professional growth; as an individual and as an organization
Have a desire to make a difference
Knowledge of Angular is a plus
Education:
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position

$95,100 - $158,500
