This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Staff Accountant - REMOTE. Accountabilities
- Act as a partner to internal and external business teams by providing qualitative and quantitative accounting/financial oversight.
- Conduct various day-to-day accounting functions in support of the portfolio accounting team.
- Maintain assigned monthly workpaper reconciliations, identifying and resolving problematic transactions.
- Prepare monthly reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the year-end audit process and assist in month-end close responsibilities.
- Compile and analyze complex financial data and generate recommendations.
- Communicate positively and proactively with operating teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-3 years of accounting and/or finance experience.
- CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general ledger applications.
- Experience with Yardi Voyager accounting software preferred.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
