Job Summary

This is a full-time role for a Sr. Structural Designer at AMG, Inc. This position is competitively paid, offers full benefits and OT pay. This position will require engagement with the client, working in teams on occasion and working independently on various jobs concurrently. Additionally, the role will involve collaborating with various engineering disciplines, a Design staff and utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed designs. This role is primarily located in Dayton, OH, with the flexibility for some remote work. This role will report to the Structural Department Manager.

Education

• A.S in CAD/DRAFTING or A.S in Architectural Technology/H.S degree preferred but not required. 

Knowledge

• STAAD Pro & RAM, preferred but not required
• Steel and Concrete Design per AISC and ACI requirements
• Structural Frame Analysis

Experience

• 0-5 years in project design duties including code interpretation, analysis, coordination with other disciplines and corroboration with a design staff to produce project design/construction documents. 

Special

• Industrial Design oriented and knowledge of Construction Techniques Preferred
• Willing to negotiate relocation and hybrid
