In this role, you will be vital to the Tax Advisory team, managing daily tax activities and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Your expertise will support high-net-worth individuals, improving their tax strategies. You will collaborate with advisors, enhance client service quality, and contribute to the firm’s overall tax goals. Accountabilities
- Tax planning and preparation for high-net-worth individuals and related entities, including extensions.
- Ensuring compliance with all federal and state filing requirements on behalf of clients.
- Performing technical research to address complex tax issues with the support of a team.
- Analyzing client information and collaborating with advisors to offer recommendations for reducing tax liabilities.
- Delivering top-quality client service in collaboration with wealth management.
- Communicating effectively with advisors and their clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Solving problems and resolving issues for clients and their advisors.
- Supporting wealth management teams with tax planning and ongoing education about tax-related developments.
Requirements
- A CPA, EA or JD with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Focus on preparing individual and fiduciary tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and families.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail, self-initiated follow-through, and strong time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Willingness to work additional hours during peak seasons.
