Job Description - Sr Technical Systems Administrator - CATIA V6 (Hybrid Eligible)

SNC is seeking a Senior Technical Systems Administrator who will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of engineering software and related infrastructure, both located within the Business Area Network and in the cloud. This individual will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation. You will also ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values and properly support staff, partners, and customers.

Responsibilities Include:

Collaborate with IT, engineering, procurement, production, and other disciplines to ensure requirements are captured and met with respect to the configuration and deployment of CATIA V6.

Train other administrators to act in a backup capacity to your role as CATIA V6 administrator.

Provide support and guidance for the development of templates, libraries, and processes related to CATIA V6

Oversee the maintenance of servers in all capacities that include, but not limited to: configuring, installing new software, performing upgrades to existing servers & software, coordinating the introduction of additional servers and storage to the network, following security policies and procedures, and performing other technical duties as needed

Maintain detailed inventory of Business Area automation tools

Maintain documentation of network server configurations, application licensing agreements, and other third party software installed

Work closely with the Application team and Development team to provide any required software support

Pro-actively monitors the infrastructure including servers to prevent issues and to resolve issues as they happen

Document repair and change requests through department ticketing system

Perform on-call after-hours support as part of a rotation

Responsible for thoughtful adherence to all SNC Policies, Procedures, and Compliance regulations (internal and external)

Must-haves:

BA/BS Degree in related field and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience

A higher level degree may substitute for experience

Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

Good interpersonal relationship skills and able to work with a wide variety of technical engineers and employees

Fluency in at least one language related to CATIA and 3DExperience (e.g. EKL, C++, MQL, etc…)

Experience maintaining and testing business software applications and hardware systems

Familiar with backup systems processes and procedures

Good documentation and communication skills

Preferred:

Experience deploying, configuring, and administering CATIA V6 software and its various modules in the 3DExperience environment

Experience with the 3DExperience PLM platform

Experience with setting up build-machines and software development support

Experience with platform infrastructure support, to include maintenance of servers and storage for business applications

Experience building prototype systems for demo and testing

Background in the Aerospace & Defense Industry

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $120,552.10 - $165,759.14. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
