Summary
The Sr Transformation Project Manager is responsible for the fundamental project management of KCNSC’s Integrated Campus Projects (ICPs)- cost, scope, schedule, and risk- end-to-end- to deliver business excellence and all intended benefits. Leads are expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, supporting both program and portfolio performance, applying best practices from industry and the national security enterprise. Senior Transformation Project Managers work with business, area, and technical experts, divisional inputs and team members, leading and integrating complex, matrixed teams, managing inputs and outputs across the business.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing and defining project scope- Front-End Requirements, Functional Requirement(s), benefit identification and management. Provides requirement definitions and scope for projects.
- Managing Project Management Plan(s)- scope, schedule/timelines, budget/costs, resource allocation, risks, and communication- from initiation to execution/closure
- Project Resource Planning- coordinating with area Managers, Sr. Managers, area owners, and subject matter experts to ensure resource availability
- All Control Account Plan Authorizations/Change Management Authorization/Authorities and the entire Change Management process
- Interface with Program Management, the Program Management Office, Infrastructure & Facilities, Integrated Supply Chain Divisions, Engineering, and other Divisions
- Project Performance Reporting- support Phase Lead(s) and portfolio managers with scope, schedule, cost, risk execution, progress, and key performance indicators (KPIs) (syncs Project Management Plan into Phase Plan)
- Present status/schedule of projects to applicable stakeholders
- Integrated Financial Management System oversight only; changes made in P6)
- Primavera Version 6, a project management software package, schedule development including status and coordination
- Plan and execute according to Honeywell’s Standard Execution Process and Process Description (Command Media 6.6)
- Manage requirements Over Target (ROT) requests
- Manage Earned Value Management System (EVMs) to keep alignment of the completed work scope and the approach is in line with budget.
- Accountable for project-related expenditures, delivery, content, quality, and the effective use of resources organization-wide to deliver on needs and commitments
You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree or, in lieu of Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in related project management
- 5+ years of relevant experience in project planning, transformation, engineering of products or processes or contract management
- Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- United States Citizenship
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
- Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)

- Experience working in manufacturing, engineering, and/or construction environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience identifying, analyzing, recommending, and implementing resolutions of project related problems
- Knowledge of commercial or governmental budgetary processes and guidelines
- Demonstrated oral and written communications skills; ability to effectively interface and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

- Demonstrates the ability to execute transformation initiatives, including process changes and technology implementations (Agentic AI)
- Understanding and practice in project timelines and deliverables related to Transition Readiness (TR)/Production Readiness (PR)
- Experience and knowledge with construction and project definitions, construction execution processes and funding structures
- PMP training and related formal experience
- Experience and familiarity with Integrated Campus Projects (ICPs), KC STEP and KC NExT
- Familiarization and understanding with 6.X Process, PD_3.8, SI_4726134, PD_6.58
- Six Sigma certification(s)
- DOE, DOD, and/or Nuclear Security Enterprise experience
