Bring innovation to the forefront of manufacturing. In this role, you’ll apply advanced, non-traditional technical approaches across manufacturing, maintenance, quality, testing, engineering, and production to drive exceptional results. You’ll also play a critical role in ensuring the safe and compliant management of hazardous materials—from handling and storage to distribution and disposal.

Lead, inspire, and elevate performance. As a key leader on the plant floor, you’ll guide and develop high-performing teams to maximize quality, efficiency, and output—while championing a strong safety-first culture. With expanded responsibility across multiple product lines and diverse teams, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact at scale and continuously raise the bar for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, testing, and facility systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency
  • Apply advanced and non-standard testing techniques to meet complex or evolving testing requirements
  • Inspect, calibrate, and maintain tools and equipment in accordance with established standard operating procedures
  • Ensure proper handling, segregation, labeling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials in full compliance with regulatory and internal standards
  • Conduct routine inspections of hazardous waste areas and prepare materials for shipment, including all required compliance documentation
  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day production activities, ensuring alignment with operational priorities and performance targets
  • Mentor, coach, and support associates, addressing performance issues and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency, cost control, and overall productivity (including OEE improvements)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with supervisors, engineers, and other shift leads to address operational challenges, support projects, and maintain seamless shift transitions
  • Maintain a safe, compliant, and organized work environment by promoting GMP/GDP adherence, reinforcing company policies, and escalating critical safety, quality, or equipment issues as needed

Qualifications

Education:

  • Vocational, Certificate, Technical or Associates degree

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Generally, Requires 6-8 Years Work Experience
  • Minimum of seven years Polymer, Adhesives and Sealants, Monofilament Extrusion or Vicryl Extrusion manufacturing experience.
  • Computer and database management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills.
  • Statistical and analytical problem solving.
  • Must have mechanical skills and able to provide documentation of mechanical skills and experience.
  • Department safety and GMP procedures.
  • Accurate record keeping.
  • Working knowledge of shop math such as decimals, fractions, and tolerances.
