What we need from you:
Experience -

You have 5-7+ years of Workers' Compensation claims experience
Certification

- SIP certification required
Customer Service -

You have excellent customer service, communication, and telephone skills
Mathematical and Analytical -

Ability to review data and make actionable recommendations based on the information.
Comprehensive Knowledge -

Understanding of Worker's Compensation guidelines, compliance obligations, and the Labor Code of the State of California.
Software -

You are proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other database management systems
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include handling new claims from opening until satisfactory completion, evidence, and fact-gathering surrounding claims
Assuring all claims have a workable plan of action
Working with case managers and treatment facilities to ensure the delivery of care
Reviewing billing summaries
Identifying any signs of fraud and making proper referrals for further investigation
Pursue subrogation when necessary, and offer superior customer service to all parties involved
