As a paid intern with Comtech, you will: Work on real-world projects that make a tangible difference Work with a peer mentor, who will help you transition from college to professional life.
Position Summary
You will partner with our local and corporate operations leadership to assist in building out work instructions for our Troposcatter lines of products. You will design and distribute factory layouts for flow, perform time studies to establish standard work (Takt Time & Cycle Time), build out standard work sheets, 5S, and production workstation layouts.
Requirements: Data-centric decision making Strong bias for action Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including writing strategic documentation and Excellent collaboration, cross-channel and partnership building
Timeline: Will start on January 15th with the expectation that this will be an ongoing CO-OP throughout all of 2024.
Location: This internship is onsite 2-3 days a week in Orlando
Qualifications

Education and Experience
Education/Experience: The candidate must be an Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering major.
Language Skills
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, engineers, and customers.
