About the role: PMAT is seeking a highly qualified SSDS SIL Technician / Administrator to support the operation and maintenance of the Ships Self Defense System (SSDS) System Integration Laboratory (SIL) in San Diego, California. This role combines hands-on technical work with administrative oversight of the lab, making it ideal for a Navy Electronics Technician or similar professional with SSDS experience who is comfortable managing both equipment and compliance tasks.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining Navy combat system hardware in labs or on SSDS-equipped ships, and be adept at inventory management, lab configuration, and documentation. This role requires a motivated, detail-oriented self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Citizenship and Clearance requirement: US Citizenship and an Active Secret clearance required; TS SCI clearance preferred

Work Environment: PMAT offices as needed. In some cases, work in a government facility may be required. Travel may be required for customer engagement, team coordination, and potentially for business development.
