Location: West Valley City, UT

Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift, Monday - Friday 40 hours per week

About the Role: As a Staff Accountant, you’ll work closely under the guidance of our seasoned Financial Controller, taking on a variety of responsibilities that will immerse you in the day-to-day operations of our finance department. From daily cash reconciliation to supporting various internal departments, this role offers a comprehensive career in the accounting field within a thriving organization.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing accounts payable transactions and ensuring accuracy in financial records.

• Assisting the Senior Indirect Tax Accountant with filing returns, entering, and paying bills for business property tax across multiple U.S. jurisdictions.

• Facilitating transfers of journal entries from lease management software to accounting software.

• Ensuring daily lease payments and disbursements are properly scheduled and processed.

• Coding and managing credit card transactions and credit card software.

• Processing and coding employee expense reimbursements and managing expense reimbursement software.

• Handling check deposits and reconciliation tasks.

• Supporting internal departments with accounting-related functions.

• Assisting in month-end account reconciliations and financial reporting.

• Providing additional accounting support as needed.
  

What You Have:

• Ability to work in the West Valley City Clicklease office from 9 AM- 6 PM

• 1+ year of accounting experience

• An affinity to learning new Software and a desire to utilize the software to its fullest

• Intermediate knowledge of how to use Microsoft Excel

• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams etc..)

What Will Make You Stand Out:

• A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

• Experience in the leasing or finance industries

• Experience using the following Software:

  • Bill.com

  • Thomson Reuters

  • QuickBooks Online

  • Expensify

  • Divvy

  • Salesforce
