As a Staff Accountant, you will have the opportunity to be a part of Engrain’s growth and dynamic environment. You will continue supporting full-cycle accounts payable while expanding your responsibilities in the areas of month-end close and financial operations. You’ll play a key role in supporting a fast-paced finance team, contributing to both operational accuracy and strategic improvements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow with the company.
What you'll do...
Accounts Payable & Expense Management
Maintain vendor records and ensure proper documentation (W-9s, 1099s) in Airbase
Enter and code vendor invoices, ensuring appropriate approval workflows
Process weekly vendor payments and employee reimbursements
Reconcile and process corporate credit card statements in compliance with policy
Monitor AP policies and procedures, identifying and implementing process improvements
Accounting & Financial Operations
Download and reconcile monthly bank activity
Prepare and manage prepaid expense schedules for the close process
Track and record fixed assets and depreciation as part of month-end close
Support the preparation and processing of customer refunds
Assist with customer renewals, including early renewal coordination
Handle finance-related cases in Salesforce, ensuring timely resolution
Participate in ad hoc reporting, special projects, and audit support
What you offer us...
At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable and general accounting
Strong knowledge of NetSuite and Airbase (preferred)
Proficiency in Excel and comfort with data management and reconciliations
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
A high level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Willingness and desire to take initiative

Salary Disclosure for Colorado: annual salary of $55,000 - $75,000. Final offer amount is determined by factors including years and depth of candidate’s experience, certifications, and skill set alignment to the job requirements
