Staff Accountant

Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Accounting preferred, but not required. Database software; Excel and Word. Applicable financial software experience required.

Job duties include but are not limited to: 

• Prepare journal entries, analyses and account reconciliations


• Prepare journal entries, analyses and account reconciliations


• Help maintain and improve month-end close processes, including monthly balance sheet reconciliations


• Complete month-end close work in the following areas: prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, operating expenses and other areas as needed


• Ensure compliance with GAAP


• Perform daily deposits


• Accounts Receivable


• Assist with coordinating grant monthly tracking


• Assist with annual budget for FQHC and entering into financial system


• Assist with Bank Reconciliations as needed


• Assist with UDS (Uniform Data System) Report and other Federal Requirements


• Assist with annual audit preparation


• Assist with accounts payable as needed


• Assist with posting of cash receipts


• Assist with payroll processing as needed


• Perform inventory at all sites as needed


• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor
