Role Overview

As a Staff Accountant at Delta Galil USA, Inc., you will play a crucial role in supporting the accounting and finance team with various tasks related to financial reporting, analysis, and transaction processing. This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with minimal accounting experience to gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment.

Responsibilities

Financial Data Entry and Processing:

• Assist with data entry into accounting systems for various financial transactions in the general ledger entries.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records by reconciling transactions and verifying supporting documentation.

Financial Reporting Assistance:

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and schedules for management and regulatory purposes.
• Compile and analyze financial data to support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Participate in the preparation of financial statements and supporting documentation for audits.

General Ledger Maintenance:

• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts.
• Record journal entries and adjustments under the guidance of senior accounting staff.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances as directed.

 Financial Analysis and Research:

• Conduct basic financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Research accounting issues and assist in the implementation of accounting standards and policies.
• Provide support for ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Retail and/or E-Commerce experience preferred but necessary.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This a hybrid role, with 4 days in our Montoursville, Pennsylvania office
