Position Summary

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for full-cycle general ledger accounting, month-end close activities, and supporting financial operations across multiple clinical locations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, accurate, and experienced in accrual-based accounting for multi-site healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform monthly close processes including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial statements.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of revenue, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
• Support accounts payable function.
• Collaborate with clinic managers and operations staff to support accurate site-level accounting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and company policies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–3 years of full-cycle general ledger accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accrual accounting.
• Prior experience in multi-site healthcare or medical practice accounting.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with financial systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Sage Intacct.
• Experience using Bill.com or similar AP automation tools.
