ProMach’s Financial Shared Service Organization is excited to welcome a Staff Accountant to its newly created General Accounting function, Account-to-Record, to assist and support in the overall company close process. In this new role, you will be hands-on in building the new department by transitioning accounting processes from the business into Financial Shared Services. As a member of our team, you’ll work with Division Controllers and the Shared Service team on performing monthly close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Does this work interest you?

• Assist in migrating GL tasks/processes from divisions into Shared Services.


• Provide insight/recommendations for process improvements; assist in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures.


• Serve as the primary accounting support partner for several division Controllers.


• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and prepare monthly journal entries.


• Perform account analysis; investigate and resolve open items.


• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.


• Prepare and maintain monthly reports as needed.


• Support collection of data requests for management and internal/external auditors.


• Perform special projects and analyses on an ad-hoc basis.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or Finance w/strong accounting focus).


• 1+ years of relevant accounting experience.


• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).


• Experience working with ERP systems.


• Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet timelines on deliverables.


• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically strong in Excel.


• Demonstrated ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret data and trends.


• Respond to change with a positive attitude and willingness to be flexible and grow in scope.


• Self-starter with an aptitude for problem-solving with minimal supervision.


• Able to work collaboratively with team members and internal/external customers.


• Strong communication, customer service and relationship management skills.


• Inspired by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organization.


• Experience in Financial Shared Services is a plus.


• Manufacturing experience is a plus.


• Travel up to 10%.
