Legacy Home Health Agency is looking for a proactive Staff Accountant to join our growing team. The Role
As a Staff Accountant, you will support our core financial operations with a focus on analytical precision. While you will oversee day-to-day cycles, your primary value will be in ensuring GAAP compliance, driving month-end excellence, and providing the insights needed for our continued expansion. 

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, for leadership.
  


• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all journal entries and accruals are audit-ready.
  


• Provide high-level oversight of AP/AR and perform complex bank and general ledger reconciliations.
  


• Support annual financial audits and ensure all records meet rigorous GAAP standards.


• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and strengthen internal controls. 

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  


• 2–4+ years of professional accounting experience, with a strong preference for healthcare or multi-entity settings.
  


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, and complex formulas).
  


• A proven ability to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and provide actionable financial insights.
