Staff Accountant

Position Summary:

Talent Source is currently hiring a Staff Accountant for an onsite opportunity in San Diego, CA. We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional with experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger activities, ideally within manufacturing or government contracting environments.

Job Duties:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledger entries.

• Perform account reconciliations and month-end closing activities.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Maintain accurate documentation and financial records.

• Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.

• Work closely with internal departments to ensure accurate reporting and cost tracking.

• Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to manage financial data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience preferred.

• 3–5 years of accounting experience required.

• Manufacturing or government contract experience preferred.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting processes.

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Deltek, Oracle, or similar preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work onsite in San Diego, CA.

Pay Range: $75K – $105K annually (based on experience)
