Staff Accountant - A/P Specialist

Isleworth Golf & Country Club recognized as Orlando's premier Golf community is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join its Finance Team.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and maintaining financial records.  

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Prepares and executes monthly check & Amex runs 
• Process weekly payments of liquor invoices, utility bills and check requests
• Reconcile the A/P Amex card 
• Reconciles monthly statements and resolves discrepancies 
• Update, allocate and distribute monthly utility bills for the different companies 
• Maintain 1099/W9 information for all vendors 
• Assists in month-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable
• Prepare credit applications for Controller signatures
• Keep copies of invoices for special general ledger accounts

Requirements

Minimum 3+ yrs experience in all areas of accounting with a preference in Accounts Payable

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) 

Adaptability with accounting software programs 

Must be insurable with company's auto insurance carrier

Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
