Staff accountant (Pooling)

 I’m looking for an experienced accountant to join our team and take ownership of our financial records. If you have a strong background in US healthcare accounting and know how to keep the books accurate, compliant, and strictly organized, I want to hear from you. I need someone who can jump right in to manage our daily financial data and provide clear insights to our management team.



Responsibilities:

- Handle general bookkeeping tasks and keep our records accurate and organized

- Perform bank, credit card, and other account reconciliations

- Research and resolve any accounting discrepancies that pop up

- Carry out internal audits and reviews to ensure we are staying compliant with our internal policies

- Review and categorize expenses to make sure they align with our budget and financial guidelines

- Prepare monthly financial reports for our management team and stakeholders

- Process payroll chargebacks and other pertinent transactions

- Post daily expenses and manage financial entries

- Support additional accounting functions and tackle ad hoc projects as assigned them



Qualifications:

- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in US healthcare accounting

- A strong understanding of core accounting principles and financial reporting

- Proficiency in Sage Intacct (this is highly preferred)

- Excellent analytical skills and a sharp attention to detail

- A self-motivated mindset with strong time management abilities

- Full-time schedule working US Pacific business hours
