Our client, a Public Accounting Firm, is seeking a Staff Accountant for their office. Our client is a successful and growing firm established 50 years ago with two locations in Lake County, Illinois. They offer a competitive salary and benefit package!

Job Duties:

• Individual income tax preparation and planning
• Corporate income tax preparation and planning
• Preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements
• Payroll tax return preparation
• Sales tax return preparation
• Bookkeeping services
• Audits

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (Companies ATS Questions):

1. Do you have 5 years of Public Accounting, experience with Lacerte, Ultra Tax, Accounting CS and QuickBooks, and a bachelor's degree in public accounting.

2. Do you have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting

3. Do you have a CPA designation or working towards it

4. Do you have experience with Lacerte, Ultra Tax, Accounting CS and QuickBooks

5. Do you have strong communication and interpersonal skills

6. Do you have the ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentially

7. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
