JOB SUMMARY:
Under the guidance and direction of the CFO and the Director of Grants and Contracts Compliance, the Staff Accountant for Special Project will assist in reviewing disbursement requests for the CRP Blended Capital Enhancement program to ensure eligibility requirements are met and required documentations are received prior to disbursement.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration strongly preferred
- 2+ years accounting related experience
- Solid understanding of US GAAP
- Experience in grants management
- Excellent customer service skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to multi-task, set and change priorities while ensuring attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
