Our client is an industry leading building materials provider. They are a well respected family-owned and operated company in the Dayton, OH area and surrounding states. They are looking to hire a Staff Accountant to join their Accounting and Finance department. This individual will have excellent exposure to all the innerworkings of the company as well as working with company leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
• Assist with the accounting operations of the company's accounting department including the Month End Close process
• Monthly balance sheets
• Account reconciliations
• Journal entries
• Tax information
• Finalize financial reporting to discuss with management

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT POSITION:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; Will consider experience
• Internship experience is a plus
• General accounting understanding
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
