Staff Analyst (Revenue Accounting)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Staff Analyst for the Revenue Accounting group for our client. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining and analyzing revenue accounting data, assisting with financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This is a critical role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. In-person interviews are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support revenue accounting operations by analyzing data and preparing financial reports.


• Maintain accurate records for toll revenue collections, accounting entries, and reconciliations.


• Ensure all revenue transactions are in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.


• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate reporting.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.


• Support audit activities and ensure timely responses to audit requests.


• Perform ad hoc financial analyses and reports as needed.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• At least 2 years of experience in revenue accounting or a similar role.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP systems experience preferred).


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.


• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.


• Experience in tolling operations or transportation-related accounting is a plus.


• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
