This role focuses on logic\u2011die and core\u2011die datapath circuitry, enabling industry\u2011leading bandwidth, power efficiency, reliability, and scalability across JEDEC and custom HBM solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with design, PHY, ECC, verification, layout, and system teams to deliver robust datapath designs from concept through silicon bring\u2011up and production.\n\n# Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:\n\n * Architect and design HBM read and write datapath across core and logic die, including alignment, buffering, timing, and control logic\n * Develop high\u2011speed, low\u2011latency datapath circuits supporting multi\u2011channel HBM architectures and wide internal buses\n * Optimize datapath designs for bandwidth, power, area, and timing closure at advanced technology nodes\n * Design and integrate data reliability features, including parity, ECC hooks, lane redundancy, and remapping mechanisms\n * Collaborate with multi-functional teams to translate specifications into robust micro\u2011architectures\n * Collaborate with PHY, DFT, verification, and layout teams to ensure accurate functionality, testability, and manufacturability\n * Drive schematic\u2011level and RTL\u2011level datapath implementations, including clocking, gating, and reset strategies\n * Contribute to design reviews, documentation, and technical mentoring across HBM programs\n\n\n\n# Required Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of relevant industry experience, or a Master\u2019s degree with 4+ years of relavent industry experience.\n * 2 + years of experience in high\u2011speed digital datapath design (memory, SerDes, or SoC datapath).\n * 2+ years of hands\u2011on experience with digital schematic build, RTL, or mixed\u2011signal datapath implementations.\n\n\n\n# Preferred Qualifications:\n\n * Strong understanding of HBM/DRAM architectures, including read/write data flow, timing, and multi\u2011channel operation.\n * Working knowledge of layout and floorplanning considerations for high\u2011speed datapath.\n * Experience with static timing analysis (STA) and timing\u2011closure methodologies.\n * Familiarity with advanced process\u2011node challenges related to signal integrity, skew control, and power optimization.\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nSystems Design Engineer 4\n\nRelocation Level: TBD\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
