We thrive on deep technical collaboration and enjoy solving complex problems that shape the future of AI and ML systems!\n\nIn this full-time onsite role, you will play a critical part in defining and enabling next-generation HBM DRAM products. You will bridge design teams, technology development, and external foundries to remove bottlenecks and influence\n\narchitecture decisions. Your work will directly impact performance, power, cost, reliability, and quality across Micron\u2019s HBM roadmap.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Analyze advanced foundry PDKs (FinFET and GAA) and develop design guidelines for power, performance, area, and reliability\n * Provide technical support for PDK-related issues and collaborate with CAD teams, tool vendors, and foundries\n * Drive design-technology co-optimization for future HBM base die architectures, including standard cells and BEOL options\n * Define reliability specifications and support yield, reliability, and technology qualification efforts\n * Explore and evaluate new architectures for future HBM products through detailed technical feasibility analysis\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 4+ years of relevant industry experience\n * Hands-on experience working with foundry technology PDKs at advanced CMOS nodes\n * Experience with EDA tools, CMOS circuit design, parasitic extraction, and circuit simulation\n * Solid understanding of advanced CMOS device physics, including FinFET and GAA architectures\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Master\u2019s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field\n * Experience with reliability and aging models for advanced CMOS technologies\n * Strong automation and scripting skills using Python or similar languages\n * Background in HBM, DRAM, or high-speed memory design and validation\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nSystems Design Engineer 5\n\nRelocation Level: TBD\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
