Job Description - Staff Hardware Development Engineer

Become a Staff Hardware Development Engineer at Micron Technology. Develop outstanding DRAM board level products in collaboration with Design Teams for innovative market solutions.

Engage in product development from design to validation, addressing electrical and mechanical issues, selecting components, and maintaining ISO Specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design PCBA for DRAM memory products, crafting logical designs in schematics using Allegro-based tools, and selecting parts for BOM creation.
  • Lead team members, including layout designers, simulation engineers, and lab personnel, in their tasks.
  • Communicate project information, issues, and lessons learned with partners.
  • Collect project management documentation to align with ISO/TS requirements.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for technical and design questions, both internally and externally.
  • Participate in industry task groups, DFMEA, and technical meetings as needed.
  • Discover and implement automation opportunities and software standards, to improve team efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify and optimize teamwork flow opportunities with custom software development.
  • Develop and expand sophisticated internal data post-processing and analysis tools.
  • Develop software documentation and provide training for new custom-developed applications.
  • Become proficient in languages, technologies, and tools to deliver efficient and timely automation solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience, Master's or equivalent experience, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • 8+ years of significant professional experience.
  • Experience in crafting and developing PCB/PCBA/IC products.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, or similar.
