Staff Product Engineer

We’re seeking an experienced Product Engineer to drive productization from silicon evaluation through high-volume manufacturing. This role partners closely with Test Engineering and cross-functional teams to develop characterization plans, validate performance, and sustain yield in production. Ideal candidates bring deep analog and digital semiconductor expertise and thrive in a collaborative, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute portions of characterization and qualification plans
• Collaborate with Test Engineers to assess silicon performance
• Own and support the transition of test solutions to overseas production sites
• Analyze lab and ATE data to support product optimization and yield improvement
• Interpret datasheets and schematics; perform bench measurements and debugging
• Create and maintain technical documentation and hardware for qualification
• Drive schedule, cost analysis, and manufacturing strategy alignment
• Partner with QA, FA, and vendors to address customer and production issues
  

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in digital and analog semiconductor environments
• Proficiency in bench measurements, data analysis, and PCB debug
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Experience building and troubleshooting hardware (soldering, PCB builds)
• Self-starter with excellent communication and time management skills
• Must be able to work onsite in San Diego, CA

The salary range for this role is $120,000.00-$140,000.00.

While a salary range is provided, the final compensation will depend on your experience, skill set, and how well you're able to highlight your background throughout the interview process.
