Compensation: $100,000-$150,000

We are seeking a Staff Propulsion Engineer to play a key role in designing and delivering innovative propulsion systems. This position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with groundbreaking technologies; from concept to development to on-orbit operations.
Where You’ll Make an Impact
Own tasks across the entire propulsion system lifecycle, from initial design and analysis to build, test, and flight operations.
Collaborate with a high-performing, cross-disciplinary team in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Apply creativity and engineering rigor to solve complex propulsion challenges and deliver on stakeholder requirements.
What It Takes
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
5+ years of experience in the design, analysis, build, test, and operation of propulsion systems.
Strong commitment to continuous learning and mentoring.
Nice-to-Have Experience
Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment to meet customer needs.
Advanced propulsion analysis expertise using MATLAB/Simulink, CFD, FEA, Surface Evolver, and GFSSP.
Experience with CAD tools.
Hands-on experience in managing propulsion labs.
Strong background in risk management.
Programming skills in Java, Python, Julia, or C++.
Experience developing tanks, controllers, valves, pumps, or other propulsion components.
Track record of success in fast-paced engineering environments.
