Position Title: Staff Web Applications Engineer (Recruitment # SWAE001)

Job Description:

Responsible for the maintenance and development of web applications. Oversee all aspects of the applications including database, UI, and middle tier development. Assess existing application architecture. Develop effective software solutions by evaluation, conducting research, gathering information, interpreting data, and working with stakeholders. Implement software solutions individually. Promote industry standard practices for all aspects of development from use of appropriate technology to coding standards. Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, scalability, and extensibility. Refine development methodologies to improve productivity of the department. Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time. Multiple Positions Available.

Job Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Science, Electronics Engineering or a directly related field plus five (5) years of web application development experience.

Five (5) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

Knowledge of architectural styles and design patternsAWS or Azure with Docker, Node.js, and serverless technologiesJavaScript and C#Relational and NoSQL databasesAgile development processComputer scripting languages and object-oriented programming languages and techniquesAutomated unit testing
