Staffing Coordinator

Description of the role: The Staffing Coordinator at Brickmont of Acworth in Kennesaw, GA supports the Wellness Director in maintaining high standards of resident care and staff development. This role assists in training, policy interpretation, and implementation of best practices in resident care.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee scheduling for CNA's, CMA's, and PSA's; to ensure adequate staffing levels and adherence to budgeted hours.


• Participates in on call rotation as assigned


• Assists with the orientation and training of care staff including conducting competency checks and ensuring annual training requirements are met


• Assists with coordinating work assignments for care staff


• Attend daily stand-up meetings and contribute to the discussion on resident care and staffing needs


• Collaborate with the management team to ensure quality and consistency in service delivery

Requirements:

• Prior experience in staffing coordination or similar roles


• Strong organizational and multitasking skills


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Proficiency in using scheduling software and other relevant tools


• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations


• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
