We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staffing Coordinator to join our team. The Staffing Coordinator plays a critical role in managing and coordinating the staffing needs of our nursing home. Staffing Coordinator Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule nursing staff shifts to ensure appropriate coverage based on patient care needs and staffing requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of staff schedules, attendance, and availability.
• Communicate with nursing staff regarding schedule changes, open shifts, and coverage needs.
• Collaborate with department heads to assess staffing needs and optimize staff allocation.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new nursing staff.
• Monitor and address staffing issues such as call-offs and last-minute schedule changes.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations related to staffing and scheduling.
• Utilize scheduling software and systems efficiently to manage staff schedules.

Staffing Coordinator Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Staffing Coordinator, Scheduler, or similar role in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing home or long-term care facility.
• Knowledge of healthcare staffing regulations and requirements is preferred.
