STAFFING MANAGER INDIVIDUALIZED SUPPORTED LIVING (ISL) PROGRAM

Full Time Salary: $50,000 Annually Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (Or other 40 hour Mon-Fri schedule determined with supervisor approval) Location: St. Charles, Missouri
Purpose: The Staffing Manager is an administrative and supervisory position responsible for planning, organizing and implementing sustainable strategies in programs serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Supported Living and supervises PRN and Floater Direct Support Professionals.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Associate degree (Bachelor preferred) degree in Human Resources, Communications, Healthcare Administration or related area of study
3 years’ experience in planning, organizing and managing staffing logistics Ability to read, comprehend, write and speak effectively in English.
Supervisory experience including employee performance management (preferred in ISL setting).
Knowledge of staffing trends and best practices helpful.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook.
Ability to learn and navigate scheduling software program(s).
Proven track record in time management and organizational skills.
Reliable transportation, current vehicle insurance and valid driver's license.
Successfully pass all required background checks for the position.
Ability to critically think and strategically solve staffing challenges.
Ability to effectively use tracking systems to ensure task completion.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify, design and implement hired and manageable schedules for each location.
Utilizing scheduling software, create home schedules with qualified and trained staff to reduce the cost of overtime.
Determine openings for hire externally and communicate staffing requisitions to Recruiter.
Monitor, supervise and assign all PRN and Floater employees.
Manage Planned Time Off requests in the Supported Living program.
Ensure prompt integration of new hires into the home schedules.
Manage transfers within the program.
