Stan's Shoes in Brookfield, WI is looking for friendly, motivated Sales Associates who enjoy connecting with people, learning new skills, and helping customers find footwear they'll love.

This isn't your typical retail sales position. You'll work one-on-one with customers, getting to know their needs, measuring their feet, and recommending shoes and insoles that offer the right combination of comfort, support, and style. Our signature sit-and-fit experience is built around personal attention, product knowledge, and genuine customer relationships.

What You'll Do

• Provide Personalized Shoe Fittings: Help customers find the right footwear and insoles through accurate measurements, thoughtful recommendations, and our signature sit-and-fit approach.


• Create Memorable Customer Experiences: Build genuine connections, listen to customer needs, and make every visit welcoming, comfortable, and enjoyable.


• Develop Your Sales Skills: Learn consultative selling techniques, work toward individual sales goals, and contribute to the success of your team.


• Become a Footwear Expert: Build knowledge of footwear brands, fit technology, and current styles to confidently recommend products.


• Support Daily Store Operations: Assist with transactions, inventory, merchandising, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor.

Who We're Looking For

• A friendly, outgoing personality and a genuine interest in helping others


• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with different customers


• A willingness to learn, take feedback, and develop sales and product knowledge


• A dependable, positive attitude and commitment to teamwork


• Motivation to achieve individual goals while contributing to store success


• Previous retail or sales experience is a plus, but not required

What We Offer

Pay & Schedule

• Hourly base pay OR commission, whichever is greater for the pay period




• Typical earnings: $15–22+ per hour, depending on sales performance




• Full-time and part-time schedules available based on business needs and employee availability, including daytime, evening, and weekend shifts

Store Hours

• Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM


• Saturday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM


• Sunday: 11:00 AM–5:00 PM

Team members should have availability to work closing shifts and may be scheduled up to one hour before opening or one hour after closing to support daily store operations.
