SafeRide Health isseekinga detail-oriented and proactive Standing Orders Coordinator to manage recurring transportation schedules for members requiring ongoing medical care. In this role, you will ensure members receivetimelyand uninterrupted access to life-sustaining treatments bymaintainingaccuratestanding order schedules, processing change requests, and supporting operational excellence.
In addition, you willbe responsible forconducting audits to ensure theaccuratesetup of all critical standing order appointments. This includesverifying ridedetails, confirming schedule accuracy, and correcting discrepancies tomaintaindata integrity. You will oversee all standing order rides,monitorrecurring trips for accuracy and completion, and manage escalations to ensure a seamless and reliable member experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Standing Order Management
Work through your assigned audit list in priority order, from highest to lowest risk, using company reporting tools and tracking systems.
Manage recurring ride schedules to ensure accurate and timely service.
Maintain data accuracy and consistency across relevant tools and systems.
Change Requests
Review, prioritize, and resolve incoming requests and escalations related to ride schedules.
Meet daily productivity targets: approximately 35 audits per day for higher-priority cases, or contribute to a team goal of 150 standing order renewals per day (about 37–40 per person).
Document resolutions clearly and escalate complex issues as appropriate to your leadership team.
Member & Facility Outreach
Conduct outgoing calls to facilities and members to gather and verify required appointment information, making multiple outreach attempts before escalating.
Verify member identity before discussing personal details on member calls, in line with healthcare privacy requirements.
Confirm continuity of care when repeated cancellations or service changes occur, giving special handling to life-sustaining treatments (e.g., dialysis, chemotherapy, wound care, cardiology).
Quality & Compliance
Verify that standing orders align with plan-specific requirements (e.g., Medicaid, Medicare Advantage).
Track and document modifications and mobility-level changes in accordance with company guidelines.
Document and escalate confirmed benefit integrity issues according to company procedures.
Collaboration
Partner with cross-functional teams (Routing, Network, Transportation, and Member Services) to ensure seamless scheduling and issue resolution.
Support new program launches with initial data setup and coordination activities.
Other Duties as Assigned
Adapt to evolving business needs and support special projects or initiatives as required.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one (1) year of experience in healthcare coordination, customer service, scheduling, or a related field.
Proficiency in managing and interpreting large sets of data.
Familiarity with healthcare terminology related to recurring, life-sustaining treatments (e.g., dialysis, physical therapy).
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related discipline.
Experience with transportation coordination or non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT).
Prior use of business intelligence tools (e.g., QuickSight).
Skills
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to balance efficiency and accuracy under strict turnaround times.
Clear and professional communication skills (verbal, written, and phone-based).
Proficiency in problem-solving and critical thinking when handling complex order changes.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
