Immediate Supervisor: Head Professional

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Essential Job Functions:

• Control tee times and reporting of players to tee

• Greet golfers on tee

• Communicate conditions of play for the day to golfers

• Track all play on course ensuring adherence to an appropriate speed of play

• Patrol for trash and debris on course, dispose of trash and debris when found

• Assist members with any requests they have while on the course

• Assist pro-shop and golf staff with any special requests including tournament preparation and coordination

• All other duties as assigned

• Must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Education, experience, and skills required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

• Previous experience golfing in prestigious golfing establishments

• Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills

• Ability to communicate in a friendly and effective manner

• Work well in a team environment

Essential physical requirements:

• This position includes climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions on an as needed basis.

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on an as needed basis

• Must have ability to work in hot and muggy conditions on continuous basis.

• Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions.

• Must be physically able to do assigned work as outlined above.

• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License.

• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
