Starter/Player Assistant (Volunteer)

Job Overview:

Under the direction and supervision of the General Manager, The Starter/Player Assistant Volunteer is primarily responsible for the adherence of pace of play and other on-course policy issues.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Tee groups off following proper documentation and starting procedures


• Assist in setting up for groups and special events


• Assure proper pace of play is maintained and course rules and regulations are followed while assisting customers during their round


• Ensure course is set up for play with water and scoring supplies


• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written


• Understand and exhibit behavior consistent with stated values of the District
