Position: Statistical Physics and Thermodynamics Physicist (PhD)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $80–$110/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 8 to 10 weeks
Commitment: 10 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate research-level physics problems in your subfield to enhance AI model reasoning.
• Design and solve complex physics challenges, ensuring solutions are verifiable by peers.
• Review completed work and provide structured feedback to improve AI model outputs.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to align on problem-solving methodologies.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines with flexible hours.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• PhD in statistical physics, mathematical physics or a closely related field.
• Published work on specific phenomena listed in the research areas.
• Verifiable publication record with three to five representative papers.
• Proficiency with LaTeX, Python, SymPy, and Jupyter.
• English at B2 or above, including written reasoning.
