Steel Foreman

We are seeking an experienced Steel Foreman to lead a team in the fabrication and installation of structural steel and stainless steel. Our client is a well-established company known for delivering high-quality metalwork on construction projects, ensuring precision and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steelwork, with proven leadership abilities and the capacity to manage teams while overseeing projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of steel structures, including beams, columns, and frameworks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and design plans to ensure accurate project execution.
• Oversee the operation of machinery and tools used in steel cutting, shaping, and welding.
• Ensure steel components are installed precisely and according to specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate project activities.
• Enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
• Provide training and guidance to team members, fostering a skilled and motivated workforce.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Steel Foreman or in a similar supervisory role in steel fabrication and installation.
• Expertise in steelwork techniques, including welding, cutting, and assembly.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Must reside in Malta.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or formal training in steelwork or a related field.
• Familiarity with stainless steel and other metal fabrication processes.
