Sterile Processing Technician 1 PRN Premium

Responsible for routine inspection, maintenance, servicing, cleaning, performing minor repairs and maintaining an inventory of equipment assigned to this area.

Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.

• High School diploma or equivalent required; degree or trade/vocational school training in electronics or equivalent will be considered on an individual basis.
• One year experience preferred; will consider training. 
• Must be able to work rapidly and have physical and mental stamina. Must be able to prioritize needs, based on requests. Requires independent decision making and problem-solving skills. Must understand infection prevention and cleaning skills based on the equipment instructions. Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to work under pressure and time constraints.
