**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our team on a PRN basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sterilizing and maintaining surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies to support the safe and efficient functioning of our ophthalmic operating rooms.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Perform decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.

- Assemble and package instruments and supplies for ophthalmic surgical procedures.

- Monitor and maintain sterilization equipment and records.

- Collaborate with the ophthalmic surgical team to ensure the availability of sterile instruments for each procedure.

- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.

- Assist in inventory management and order supplies as needed.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician required

- Knowledge of sterilization techniques and equipment.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ophthalmology surgical environment.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
