Sterile Procssing Tech (Contract) - Rewarding Work

Quality Staffing Specialist are currently searching for Full-Time Sterile Processing Technicians to work within a hospital setting.

Assignments change daily, depending on the needs of the clients that I work with. If you don’t see what you want, I may have it next week! Let me know what you are looking for!

To qualify for any of the positions, your experience in that field must be recent within the last 2 years. 

All assignments are for 13 weeks with the opportunity to renew.

Rates shown are weekly gross rates. If your permanent residence is >50 miles from facility, you will qualify for tax free per diems.

Positions Available:

Durham, NC:  

Previous travel experience required (6 months to 1 year)

Must have EPIC experience

Must be certified by HSPA (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association)

Permanent address must be more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay.  

Those located within 75 miles will receive local pay.

Sterile Processing Technician 

Days:  7:00am-3:30pm, 5x8 hour shifts

Days:  11:00am-7:30pm, 5x8 hour shifts

Evenings:  3:00pm-11:30pm, 5x8 hour shifts

Nights:  11:00pm-7:30am, 5x8 hour shifts

• Must have 2 years of recent Sterile Processing experience
• Must have 6 months to 1 year of travel experience
• Must have experience in Orthopedics, Robotics, Neuro, and Spine
• SPM tracking and VPRO experience required
• EMR:  EPIC
• Sterilization, Decontamination, Assembly/Wrap, Case Cart required
• Robotics & SPD instrument tracking
• Weekends:  rotating
• Holidays:  rotating
• Orientation:  first 2 week you will work 11:00am-7:30pm
• Patient Ratio 1:3
• HSPA Certification (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association) **formally called IAHCSMM OR CBSPD Certification
• BLS Certification (AHA only)

Rate $31/hour = $1,240/weekly (travel)

         $28/hour = $1,120/weekly (local)

Sterile Processing Technician – Team Lead/Supervisor

Days:  7:00am-3:30pm, 5x8 hour shifts

As the Supervisor, you would be responsible for running the floor, maintaining the sterilizers, managing staff breaks/lunches, and communicating with the OR.

• Must have 2 years of recent Sterile Processing experience
• Must have previous management experience
• Must have experience in Orthopedics, Robotics, Neuro, and Spine
• SPM tracking and VPRO experience required
• Must have previous travel experience
• EMR:  EPIC
• Sterilization, Decontamination, Assembly/Wrap, Case Cart required
• Robotics & SPD instrument tracking
• Weekends:  4 weekend shifts per contract (Saturday & Sunday)
• No PTO time request will be honored
• Patient Ratio 1:3
• HSPA Certification (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association) **formally called IAHCSMM OR CBSPD Certification
• BLS Certification (AHA only)

Rate $32/hour = $1,280/weekly (travel)

         $29/hour = $1,160/weekly (local

Raleigh, NC:
