Sterilization Technician at Burg Children's Dentistry & Orthodontics

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sterilization Technician to join our clinical team. This essential role ensures that all dental instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained, supporting our commitment to patient safety and infection control. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

•  Process and sterilize dental instruments and equipment using autoclaves and other sterilization devices.
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness and functionality; report any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and equipment maintenance.
• Organize and prepare instrument trays for various dental procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels of sterilization supplies and reorder as necessary.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure timely availability of sterilized instruments.
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned by management.

Qualifications: 

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate and maintain sterilization equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
